Hole 4 – Par 4 – Hcp 3<\/h1>\n

A par 4 which is longer than it might seem because of the headwind and the raised green. A corridor of trees from the start to the fairway and the tee box which tends to aim to the right form a slight dogleg to the left. The fairway is rough and it is difficult to have your feet flat for the shot to a raised green protected on both sides by very deep bunkers. The green itself is all uphill: on three levels lengthwise and two sideways.<\/p>\n

Experienced player<\/h2>\n

The best shot is a driver in draw to avoid a small patch of pine trees that borders the right side of the fairway. When choosing the club for a second shot of about a hundred metres, you should consider carefully the headwind that often blows but you do not appreciate in this area sheltered by the high green, the depth of the flag and the slope of the landing area, because the distance putters are difficult to use on this shape of green.<\/p>\n

Bogey Player<\/h2>\n

The driver must be directed to the right side of the fairway, in the hope of having a flat lie in that facilitates a second shot played with a fairway wood or a rescue. It is, however, expedient to stay a few tens of metres from the deep bunkers that protect the first part of the green, leaving an uphill approach with plenty of space for rolling of the ball.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
