Hole 9 – Par 3 – Hcp 11<\/h1>\n

The signature hole of Venice: the most loved and hated hole of the course. It looks like a par 3 of 155 metres with an elevated starting point from which you have to get over a mound that conceals a green, identifiable only when one considers that it is located to the left of the big pine visible from the tee box. The green is long, narrow, sideways and all uphill; if you fail to hit to the centre, mistakes are punished by a bunker to the left and rough to the right.

Experienced Player<\/h2>\n

Two different irons depending on the position of the flag, which you have to make sure of when you start at the tee of hole 1 that runs along this green. While is easy to calculate the slope uphill from the beginning towards the end of the green, calculation of the treacherous sideways slope is a much trickier matter.<\/p>\n

Bogey Player<\/h2>\n

The sole objective is to overcome the mound. In any event it is better to stay short of the green because a wrong shot will inevitably get caught in the bunker on the left, the rough on the right or, if it is too strong, roll over the slope after the collar.\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
